Vishal John
Vishal is a current medical student at the University of Louisville and is very passionate about rock climbing. The true joy for Vishal comes in the privilege of aiding others on their climbing journeys, guiding them over cruxes and cheering as they reach new heights. To him, rock climbing is more than just a sport—it's a profound connection to nature and a way to uplift those around him. Vishal's favorite part about Rock Cancer is the people and the Ice Cream, but mainly the Ice Cream!!!

Judith M Kabat, MD
Dr. Kabat is a pediatric hematologist/oncologist with Norton Children’s Cancer Institute, affiliated with the UofL School of Medicine.
Dr. Kabat specializes in the care of children with leukemia and lymphoma. She also serves as an assistant professor of pediatrics at the University of Louisville School of Medicine, with research interests focused on health equity, improving access to care, and using qualitative methodologies to assess and enhance health care delivery.

Paige Oldfield
A proud Kentuckian and a dedicated medical student at the University of Louisville, Paige has been climbing since 2017. She sharpens her skills at Rocksport climbing gym and has enjoyed outdoor adventures in the Red River Gorge and Joshua Tree National Park. For Paige, climbing transcends the physical challenge—it's a chance to connect with the outdoors and to refocus the mind. Through her work with Rock Cancer, she merges her two passions; channeling her love for climbing while staying true to her devotion to patient care. Paige loves encouraging others to tackle their challenges head-on and to savor the thrill of every personal victory.
