Meet the Team

Prague

  • Eli Chrappa and Katka Hrušková

Eli is an 11-year-old boy who has been battling an optic pathway glioma for 9 years. His mom, Katka, is constantly looking for ways to make his life as colorful as possible. Elias, like many other children with cancer, faces limitations in sports and the development of social skills. That's why Katka decided to contribute her energy to building a community around Rock Cancer Prague. Just like Michal and Vojta, she sees great value in this initiative for pediatric oncology patients.

  • doc. MUDr. Michal Zápotocký, Ph.D.

Michal works as a doctor and scientist at the Department of Pediatric Hematology and Oncology at the 2nd Faculty of Medicine, Charles University, and the Motol University Hospital, specializing in pediatric brain tumors. A few years ago, he developed a passion for climbing, and when he was offered to lead the Rock Cancer project in Prague, he gladly took on the challenge. He believes that this initiative will significantly help his young patients on their journey to achieving the highest possible quality of life. Michal enjoys climbing on artificial walls but even more climbing on natural rocks outdoors. With his family, he loves exploring diverse corners of the world and experiencing new cultures.

  • Vojta Suk

Vojta is a 4th-year medical student, passionate about movement and nature, and an indoor climbing instructor. He loves discovering new paths, even when they're not the easiest, as he believes they always lead to something meaningful. At Rock Cancer, he is responsible for ensuring climbing safety, offering new challenges for climbers of all ages, and, above all, providing lots of fun.
